Premiere: Rony Seikaly- Kidda [Stride]
The main man Rony Seikaly is back on his own STRIDE label with two fantastic new tracks that are filled with spirituality and depth. They continue a fine run of form from the artist who is leading the underground from the front with his unique sound and prolific work ethic.
Leili Ya Leili feat. Eiman opens up and is a warm tune with an exotic lead. The synths power on and the lush chords bring warmth and soul. Add in a nice airy vocal and the whole thing really makes a mark. Kidda then goes deeper, with a nice taught bassline and slick drums moving you into a late night mood with cosmic pads and and far sighted horizons bringing the emotion.
