Today, New York City’s most influential nightlife brand Teksupport has announced a special Memorial Day Weekend open-air performance with electronic music icon Solomun. Taking place on May 23 at the historic Fulton Fish Market in Hunts Point, the event marks the debut of large-scale outdoor concert programming at the venue’s East River waterfront.
Solomun remains one of club culture’s most influential figures, known for expansive, emotionally charged sets that blur the line between underground credibility and global appeal. The Bosnian-born producer’s signature sound has shaped dance floors worldwide, from his long-running Solomun +1 residency in Ibiza to the continued evolution of his label Dynamic Music.
Teksupport has continuously pushed the boundaries of traditional nightlife in the city, transforming overlooked, derelict, raw and unexpected spaces, including submarine factories, navy yards, subterranean ballrooms, passenger boats, and even Grand Central Station, into unforgettable event experiences. The Fulton Fish Market setting marks a new chapter in the collective’s exploration of unconventional, large-scale outdoor venues, offering a rare opportunity to experience Solomun in a working waterfront environment unlike any other in the city.
Presented in partnership with the Fulton Fish Market Cooperative, the May 23rd event reflects the Cooperative’s growing commitment to unexpected cultural programming beyond its historic role in the city’s food system. Founded in 1822, the nonprofit, member-owned organization operates from a 400,000-square-foot facility in the Bronx, and supplies nearly half of New York City’s seafood, making the site both a vital piece of infrastructure and an emerging platform for large-scale cultural moments.
Led by founder Rob Toma, Teksupport has spent the past decade reshaping New York City’s nightlife through forward-thinking curation and cutting-edge production. Widely recognized for introducing some of Europe’s most influential dance music brands to the United States, the collective has become a defining force in the evolution of the city’s underground music landscape.
